Jack and Sally!!! Or Just Jack. So I can have him. :animwink:
Definately Roger Rabbit too.
I know he's been there for the show, but I really really want to see Clopin from Hunchback because, well, I'm so in love with him.
If there was an Australia section, you'd definately need Jack the kangaroo rat! What a cutie.
I also desire to see Kuzco(and Yzma and Kronk), the Blue Fairy, the March Hare, Cruella, Basil, Ursula, Jafar, Shang, and maybe even the Spring Sprite.
Some of those may have been at the parks, but I've never had the chance to see them.

Jessica Rabbit was supposedly out for sets for 2 or 3 days back when the movie came out. I was told that she was pulled because of the amount of complaints from guests.

Wow. That's amazing. So if pictures do exist of her, it would only be a handful. Hmmm....

The Mad Hatter is out almost everyday by the tea cups at MK. He also visits 1900 Park Fare for breakfast on most days.

I have heard that Roger Rabbit will be visiting at Disneyland this summer. I am going there in June. If I see him I'll definately let you all know.

Really? That'd be great. I'm planning to go to DL in June as well and hope to see him.

Now, we can only hope that they'll bring Roger back for meets at WDW for the Happiest Celebration on Earth as well. Several CMs have told me that he might be coming back, along with Jessica.

Jack & Sally I don't believe I've ever heard mention of costumes even existing for them. Roger Rabbit used to appear nightly in SpectroMagic until 99 or 2000 (when the Main Street Electrical Parade returned to MK). But we share Roger's rights with Spielberg. I believe it's something like a 5-7 year turn taking type thing. So currently we don't the rights to him and can't have him in the park.
Clopin you can catch very rarely at Epcot (in France). But he's certainly rare. Mickey's Not So Scarry I think he makes appearances for (along with Goliath and many other random characters).
Kuzco, Yzma and Kronk can occassionally be seen afternoons just inside the MGM gates. The Blue Fairy appears daily in the MK's parade along with Ursula, Cruella, and Jafar. During the summer months Jafar can usuallybe found in Adventureland as well. Mulan and Shang used to appear together but I can't remember the last time I saw him.

Okay... any I left out? Thumper has made appearances here and there at MK. I know there was talk of bringing him out more often. (He's SOO cute too! :D ) Huey, Dewey, and Louie? Never seen them in the park. Scrooge McDuck however comes out rarely.
All in all the best time to see the random characters is during the Mickey's Not So Scarry parties. Anyone play Kingdom Hearts? They had the main character from that out last year and a KH's Goofy! They were awesome. Ok, I'm done. :p

If that is the case, let's hope that those 5-7 years pass soon.

I never heard that before, so I don't think I have a 100% understanding of what the "taking turns" thing means. When was it started anyway? 1999? 2000?

Anyway, May 1999 was when that the Main Street Electrical Parade made its temporary return to the Magic Kingdom, so I'm guessing that 1999 was when this turn-taking type thing that lkdancer mentioned stated.

So, it seems that by May 2005, when the Happiest Celebration on Earth begins, 6 years will have already passed...and I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Roger to return for the celebration. He should and, IMO, he must!

About Jessica Rabbit.
Whatever happened to that lifesize cardboard cutout of her?
My father has a picture with her in '94, it was in the Backlot Area of MGM, but I can't remember ever seeing it again.

I'd love to see the playing card guards from Alice in Wonderland and the Cheshire Cat (I know, I know . . . he's there, you just can't see him! :p )

Also, I'm searching my memory on this, I know that Mary Poppins appears in her white dress and parasol, but I'd love to see her in her black overcoat complete with carpet bag and animated parrothead (not Jimmy Buffet-related) umbrella! Not sure if I saw her as a child in that outfit? Sidebar: would love to see her also incorporated into a parade or show where she flies like Tink!!

:sohappy:

Mary Poppins

here she is (with the Mad Hatter!) and the Grand Floridian 1900 Park Fare Character Breakfast. Well, technically, she is just outside the lobby by her statue.

This is her "Nanny Poppins" look (as opposed to "Jolly Holidays" what you're thinking)

Hope this helps!

They both look great, but I'd like to see one in her traditional garb: dark overcoat, with bag, and parrot umbrella . . . BTW, did she ever wear a red coat?? Probably the dark, long coat might be too hot for the FLA sun?? (Although, I'm sure the costume designers could create a lightweight version!)

She wears the red coat a few times in the movie. Unlike most Disney characters with one or two outfits, Mary actually goes through quite a few. We watched the movie and studied all her costumes when we were preparing for MNSSHP last year (Ryland and I were Mary and Bert). We ended up choosing the outfits for Step In Time. She wears the red coat then, along with a red skirt.
If you want to see pics, PM me, but Ryland posted them in another thread. If I can find them I'll post it here. . .
