Disney Career Start

Hey!!!! Congrats to you! Careerstart is a lot of fun, you get to do a lot more than the collegeprogram because of the class they make you take. For instance in mine, we got to meet some incredible imagineers and my group took the tour of Expedition Everest. It was awesome. However, they are not kidding about following the rules. Half of careerstart will not make it at the end. Some go home (self-terminate) the rest are terminated. This is based on drinking, not going to the careerstart class (if you miss two, they do contact your work location) and being stupid with missing work and reprimands. But if you follow the rules and have fun, it'll be a great memory! If you have specific questions, feel free to ask!

I think it's just a pair of nice pants and a nice shirt. I usually wore a pair of nice black pants and a nice long-sleeved shirt to class.

What exactly is the career start program? It's similar to the CP, right? How? Like how long is it and where would you stay/how old do you have to be, ect?

CS is almost the same as the CP. For CS, you don't have to be in college, and for the CP, you have to have done at least 1 semester of college. Also, CS people don't get to do all the roles available to CP people.

CS stay in Chatham/Vista as well.

I am 22, and got hired in the CS program. I start May 28th. Can't wait!

I am not entirely worried about getting fired or whatnot. I guess it's the mature ones that stick around.

In any case, I did heard that the CS and CP are looked upon a little less in the scheme of things. Some hazing comes with the job (and, I've been working since I was 15, so I am use to it).

Anyhow - congrats! 8-)

Thanks guys, I guess you could do it after college if you wanted? I can't wait for the CP, I want to do it at least twice, so hopefully I'll have something to do afterwards. Don't know yet. Have a great time Tinkerbell88, good luck to you!

If you want to do the CP, you can only do it up until the semester after you graduate.

My roommates and I wore like buisness suit skirts the first day, then from there on out we wore khakis with a short sleeved polo. Just make sure the shirt isn't see through material or too low cut ( I saw a girl get asked to leave class due to that) But whatever you wear, that room is always cold!!!
