Does anyone know what the top selling candy is at Disney World? On our recent trip we bought lots of Mickey Gummys,Huge Jawbreakers and Unicorn lollipops. MY 3 DS do not care for the Mickey and Pooh shaped pops. They tell me they taste a little like medicine.

I would think the lollipops would be the best sellers, but you never know...

not so muchcandy...but I love the "senta-mints". they now sell them in regular disney stores, but you can get the big tins on main street...mmm....

Those gold wrapped coins with the 4 park logos and have chocoloate mints inside are the best...Disney has mastered the art of mixing the right amount of mint with chocolate.....they come in a gold mesh bag........really good

My wife toured the Harry London chocolate factory in North Canton, OH. According to the tour, they provide Disney with alot of their chocolates. Check those labels-see if they have Ohio listed.

RE: Candy

Where do they sell the candy?
The reason I ask is that in the beginning at DL and when WDW first opened you could not find gum or candy in the parks. I don't think you could even get any at the hotels or the LBV shoping village(now DTD) This was walts golden rule because people droping or sticking candy or gum on the ground or any bench/wall/post/table is a nightmare for the custidial staff to clean and unsightly. Walt didn't want it to ruin his parks. it is nasty when you grab on to a table to sit and place your hand or leg on a table or seat and get a clump of goo on you.

Lots of places sell candy in the parks. Confectionary on Main Street, Villains/Candy Store in MGM to name a few. You're right about the gum-its not sold anywhere in the parks.

I guess the candy would just disentergrate unlike the gum which will be around for eons. But I was hoping that they didn't change that policy on the gum.

Thanks for that info mousecar

One time when i was at WDW i bought this lollipop thing from the Disney villians candy shop in the disney studios. It was in this capsule-like container and had sprinkles at the bottom, so after you licked the lollipop you could shake the capsule and sprinkles would stick to the lollipop. However the last time I was in Disney in December I couldn't find this anywhere. Anybody else remember these lollipops and/or know if they still sell them.

No need to worry, WDW still has the "no gum" policy, because like you said it was Walt's Golden Rule.

My favorite sweet and the ones I am HOOKED on are the peanut butter cups in the green sorcerer mickey bag......

does anyone remember the soft, fruit shaped candy that the parks used to sell? I loved it......and I haven't seen it anywhere else.

how can we get candy after we get home?

I bought my bedridden Mom a tin box of the Mickey Fudge - think it was from the candy store on Main Street - and she fell in love with it and quickly ate it all up.

Any suggestions on how I can get another supply?

I betcha one of the top sellers is also the most expensive. DO NOT EAT THE SNICKERS IN THE WETBAR! Its not worth the $7. they charge you for it. The Heinekins (sp?) on the other hand are priceless.

My favorite candy is Pooh`s Hunny Pots. They don't sell them everywhere, but you can find it at DTD or at the store at the end of the Pooh ride at MK. I always buy extra boxes to take home, and hide them in my closet so that my brother and sister cannot find them and eat everything. I get sad when the boxes get empty, and I usually keep them, to smell and pretend I am at WDW!
