Disney Call Center Questions

My apologies if this isn't the correct forum for this question. Moderator, please move if needed.

My question relates to the call centers Disney uses to handle inbound resort and restaurant reservations. There must be dozens or hundreds of people working the phones, presumably in one or two locations. From my conversations with them, it seems these locations are in central Florida. Does Disney own these call centers, or do they outsource it to another company? How many people are employed?

Replies will be kept confidential. This is for my own edification, not for publishing in the Unofficial Guide.

Thanks for any help.

Sincerely,

Len

I don't know how many people are employed, but I can tell you that the same ones for central res. are the same ones that I use for the travel agents line and they are also the same ones that you reach for disney dining.

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
Len,

I think the call centers are owned and operated by disney... and I think one of them is in the Tampa Metro area...not sure though.

The Disney Call center is located in WDW from what I've been told.

The Disney Reservation Center has 2 locations. 1 in Orlando, off Disney property, just off International Drive (literally just over 1 mile from Universal Orlando), the other is located in Tampa.

The Disney Catalog mail order line is located in Kansas City, MO, and during peak season, they also serve as backups for the Disney Reservations Center
