Has anyone ordered a birthday cake in a Disney restaurant? What are they like? How much do they cost, and how big are they? We are only a family of 4, so is it worth getting one? Are there any pictures to choose from?

It would be for my daughter's 6th birthday in Oct, at the 1900 Park Fayre (Cinderella's Gala Feast).

Thanks in advance!

Definitely call and order one!

They are delicious and it will make your daughter feel so special on her birthday!

Friends surprised me at Liberty Tree with one last summer and it was awesome! It was chocolate cake, with fudge frosting, with swirls of fudge on top of fudge candies surrounded by fudge with a little fudge over by the fudge, and more fudge....... YIKES!!!!!!! I went into sugar shock just typing about it!

What I am trying to say is: it was the most delicious chocolate fudge cake I have ever tasted!!! :slurp:

The characters will come over and sing for her and make a big deal about it! :sohappy:

I think they cost about $12 or so and need to be ordered in advance.
There is a choice of flavors and maybe even decor, but it will look great no matter what they are offering at your location!

There was MORE than enough for the 4 of us. I think it's about a 9" round cake with candles, etc. We couldn't finish it after our meal, but we sure tried! :D

"HB" to your little one!

HAVE FUN!

When we made reservations for Cinderalla's Royal Table, I mentioned the fact that it was my wife's Birthday and they brought out a cake for free.

Unfortunately it was a chocolate cake and my wife is allergic to chocolate.
I, however, did manage to put quite a dent into it, and they let us take the rest with us when we left. I ended up eating cake for 2 days.

We didn't even tell anyone at Boma at AKL. My sister wore her birthday button, and the chef came out with a cake and talked to us and sang to her. The most awesome place though, was Sci-Fi Dine In. It was a real surprise for all of us. She got several desserts on that trip, one of the cakes was a Mickey head with chocolate swirls (like was mentioned above), and Mickey sprinkles. They were all free, by the way.
