Disney at night

I checked and I'm thrilled that the clocks turn back the weekend I head to WDW (1st weekend Nov). That means sunset times are around 5:30pm. The parks close between 7-9 pm. Mostly 9pm I think that time of year.

I'm thrilled we'll get 3 or 4 hours in the dark. Different experience.

Aside from fireworks and the nighttime spectacular what do you guys like to do and see in the parks after dark sets in?

Tomorrowland is awesome at night, as is BTMRR…it’s a totally different experience at least for me BYMRR seems much faster at night. I like TT in Epcot for the same reasons…

(although if you get wet you won't get dry)

Yea, deal with that at Six Flags too. Texas the weather can wildly fluctuate wildly between day and night. Not sure about Orlando. I don't remember big routine fluctuations at WDW. ...dealt with a WDW cold front tho, twice! I have lots of Disney sweats/coats I never wore again. :p

The hours are really disappointing because I much prefer the parks at night. There is no reason that the parks should close before 10:00 except Animal Kingdom.
This!!! I remember taking the girls to MK until 2am while my DW was back at the resort sleeping…between the end of Wishes until 2, we were able to ride EVERY ride (and some twice)…aah the good old days…not with the guy in charge now…

9 feels OK to me. My youngest is 6 so he'll probably make it but be a zombie. Luckily we feel we are PAST the going back for a nap thing (which doesn't work as well if you're off property - and to me a time waster).

7 pm (Universal and AK) feels EARLY. I am hopeful the Nov 2022 hours mirror Nov 2021 hours (2nd week): everything was 9pm, except AK which was 7 and MK did close early for some event.

When the park closes at 8 or 9, does that mean the nighttime show is even earlier, or just that most things shut down and the night time show is the last thing? Thinking specifically about EP and MK.......And hopefully Fantasmic is back by then as well.

Doing all the rides at night give a whole different experience. I enjoy walking the walk ways getting a night feel of wandering the parks. The sounds and sights make it all take on a new perspective like it’s a new park than the one we went through earlier in the day.. Attractions feel and sound very different Especially the HM takes on an eerily presence. The best was when there was the extended night hours when the parks emptied out and you felt it was all yours to enjoy.
