Disney All Star Movies Resort

Im going on my bday to this resort and was looking for information about it from people that have been really?

Whats good, whats bad? :slurp:

I have stayed at All-Star movies 3 times and I loved it so did my DH and kids. The food court at Pop is a bit better and so are the buses but, there is just something about AS Movies that I love (it's just a feeling, hard to explain).

I agreed. I love the All Star resorts. Rooms aren't THAT great but the theming is fun. I've stayed at Sports and Movies and have really enjoyed it.

We stayed at this resort once. We had a room in the preferred section. It was nice. The food court was okay....not the best. We did not use Disney transportation so I cannot comment on that. My nephew really loved the theme of this resort.

We've stayed there twice, and 2-3 other times at All-Star Sports and Pop Century.

The good:

Theming. Food court.

The bad:

Can get noisy. Rude guests. Transportation (sometimes).

The only downside on the transportation is that you often have to share a bus with the other two All Star resorts. At park close, this usually isn't the case, each resort gets its own bus. However, the buses are usually packed so tight that sardines laugh at you.

Oh, was just there last night..

When ya goin? Right now the bus loop area is completely torn up and thus the whole entrance to the resort is sorta in shambles. Folks are redirected to wait for buses at tents around the parking lots.

In short, it's a bit of a mess at the moment.
