Am I the only one that has trouble with the Disney initials?? I am a Disney fantatic, have been several times and it takes me forever sometimes to figure out what people are saying with all the POFQ, TOT, DH, ADR, etc...etc...etc. Some of them I never do figure out. I would be able to read alot faster with the actual words. LOL!! I guess Im old.

We need time for things to happen.

As others have said it takes a lot of getting used to. I can tell you that when I was at 20 posts I didn't know my
PoTC from my POFQ it was a real PIA!

But honestly once you get used to it, it's hard not to use it.
Although there are still a few that I come across I have to think about.

for example...
yesterday I was talking to my wife about our upcoming trip and she was like
"Is the mine coaster going to be open when we're there?"
I condescendingly said...
"that's cute - you mean BTMR!!???"
she said..."How about FU??" and walked away..

I'm still trying to figure that one out....

I don't usually use abbreviation letters when I talk. I do use them for some hotels, when I'm talking to people who know them. But I use words for the rides...not the full name, but words.

I never thought about that before. :)

What really gets me is trying to figure out what the abbreviations mean when so many are the exact same letters. Like SM= splash mountain and SM= space mountain.
