I never heard of this movie until I saw this article. I guess this would make this the first Disney advertised horror movie?

Disney's first horror movie was The Watcher in the Woods, released in 1980 (and then again the following year after more work was done).

This was followed by Something Wicked This Way Comes in 1983. After this, Disney made horror movies were released under their other labels.

This movie was among an annual series of Halloween timed Disney Channel Original Movies that were first broadcast between 1997 and 2007. IMO the opening of "Under Wraps" was more shocking than anything in this particular movie, despite the movie itself being more comical in tone overall.
