Took me way to long to make this, I won’t be surprised if my ideas seem unliked by a few, but after Epcot Evolution doing pretty bad in feed back (not much feedback). So I took extra time to work on my DCA imagineering project which is a step up from the previous one. This update is bigger budget and is to introduce more rides and more lands and yes I have a few surprises for ya’

The theme of DCA is still a park about California, instead of teaching about California [pause] in California, instead it ties in a bunch of attractions or rides into a California themed park like what I mentioned in that theory from a while ago. I prefer this as my favorite project so far as my next is for a Disneyland Tomorrowland redo idea [updated] in September. I would like feedback and some ideas for Tomorrowland and yes I am bringing the PeopleMover back.

First I must show a map of DCA with paths, buildings and etc. highlighted so here you go (don’t kill me if I got something off).

Also I did put down the Marvel land map the best I could out of what we know.

And here is the new and improved map.

Yeah I spoiled my surprises right off the bat but I am trying to make this a functional park at least. Yes, some may be happy and others may be mad so let’s dive right in!
Disney’s
California Adventure
The lands in this park are:
-HollyWorld
-Avengers Academy
-Muppet’s HollyWorld
-Grizzly Peak
-San Francisco
-Californian Feilds
-Radiator Springs
-Pixar Pier

Before people scream at me in the comments, I saved some buildings, added on or demolished them. I decided to save parts of present DCA as I feel like I could fix those problems. Let’s run through the things at this park and let’s begin.

HollyWorld:
A upgraded version of Hollywood land with it acting as the entrance as Disney basically is Hollywood now because of the number of big movies they release now. It features a few things and let’s go through them. The area will have a 70’s style architecture.
Rides:
HollyWood RUSH!
A high speed launching roller coaster which will act as one of many E-tickets for the park. Guests embark on a journey through Hollywood to get to the world premiere of a movie they starred in as they have just become stars. There will be multiple launches and many inversions. The vehicles look like super stretch limos as a reference to what Super Star Limo was supposed to be with Rocking Roller Coaster blended in. The main launch goes through the Hollywood sign in front of the two story show holding where guests can see them launch into the massive show building. Guests enter into a movie stage where they walk through a set with green screens and stuff with cameras all around, then they enter a room where they edit the film with it showing employees editing with footage, adding effects and green screen backgrounds. Then they enter a room where a calendar scratches down the days until the movie premieres with trailers for the movie on the screen (its for a lame and cheap looking superhero movie as a joke). Then they enter their garage where they are informed that they will be late for the premiere so guests must hurry and catch their ride through Hollywood. In the show building after the launch they soar through Hollywood and passing the Chinese Theater and going through a block section then another launch when a traffic light turns green then through more inversions and then they go past the theater just in time for the premiere as a camera man takes a picture.
Welcome to the Movies
Think of it as a spiritual successor to the Great Movie Ride. This is a ride with an GMR style ride vehicle journeying through Hollywood and looking at famous movies from different genres, with Disney movies tied in. This is a kiddie ride but with many genres pulled in with Disney IP’s. Examples are Fantasy: Peter Pan or Cinderella. Horror: Alien or Predator. Animation: Snow White and etc. This will not have a superhero genre scene though. This also has many animatronics and not many screens. Also some scenes from the Great Movie Ride are brought in for those nostalgia seekers.
Shops:
Hollywood Suppliers:
A shop at the entrance of the park with merch of stuff all around Hollywood with things like maybe a keychain with a small Hollywood stat attached or maybe a piece of movie merch in the WttM ride,
Diners:
HollyWood Cafe:
A quick service restaurant with normal food, American food. It will feature props used in sets and there will also be seating. The small eating area will have movie props there as well.
Others:
Hall of Fame:
A place for temporary meet and greets with movie or Tv characters who are currently in the movies and will switch out every 6-14 months. There will be room for three of these characters who can’t fit anywhere else.
Chinease Theatre
That theatre, oh. This will be a theatre showing movies in IMAX, 3D and those weird moving chairs. It is a small normal theatre that shows Disney only movies that are big or something.
Hollywood history:
A walkthrough attraction showing the history of Hollywood with movies and showing how movies have evolved through hit movies. Also showing some Disney movies along the way
Muppet’s HollyWorld:
This small area just east of HollyWorld is the 70’s HollyWorld invaded by the Muppets. This keeps the architectural style as it still is HollyWorld but with the Muppets.
Rides:
MuppetVision 4D!
A upgrade to the classic one inside of that building that was in the original HollyWood Land. 3D’s character will (sadly) be how called 4D with more 4D effects added like the seats move more, sprays and real effects and the usual 3D. The show will be extended with more animatronics with charm of the original with scenes being reshot, the old scenes will be remade almost exactly with the new scenes with Jim Henson style directing to honor him. Even though that is controversial I think at least reshooting the scenes in the same way isn’t dis honoring him.
The Great Muppet Movie Ride:
You probably know about this one, I recycled the idea that was abandoned. So yeah, the guests are touring a muppet studios as they prepare to make movies with scenes from popular movies during the 70’s being remade with Muppets plastered over with everything going wrong with the effects and everything. Things explode and stuff like that. It also shows how effects are made with even showing how they made effects in the 70’s. The ride vehicles are just like the Great Movie ride but with muppet colors on them. Also yes there is a live narrator who will react to the scenes with trying to help what happens and stuff.
Shops:
The Lab:
A small merch shop themed to the lab where 4D was created with Muppets merch everywhere.
Diners:
Doc Hostons Country Fried Frog Legs
Talking about a mouthful, the villain from the OG Muppet Movie has this restaurant which he wanted Kermit to be the mascot of because he was a frog, and that place serves frog legs?
Well I think even though it may not be iconic but I like the idea with a replica of the building from the movie. Yes, Frog legs will be served with other foods.
Other:
Muppet Courtyard:
A courtyard where the Muppets can be met as a meet and greet. There can be 2 Muppets there at a time but multiple rooms there for 8 Muppets with Muppets like Fozzy and Bonzo could be met.
Grizzly Peak:
A giant overhaul to this area, the same name though. I noticed people liked this place so I decided to spare it. The theme is of a old western village with bears living just out of town.
Rides:
Grizzly Rapids:
A upgrade to Grizzly River Run with the bear statue saved as that is fun to look at. The ride will be a bit of an upgrade but leaving out a bit of a story as guests are just journeying down the rapids of Grizzly Peak and they float through the mines and run into some bears but mostly just rapids and drops, one big one two. The queue takes them through a Grizzly Peak Village home where they learn of the tales of the mines, rapids and bears. The queue is mostly just themed to what it originally was.
Grizzly MineCart Rally:
A port of the minecart ride in Hong Kong but changed a bit to fit the Californian theme. The story is guests are touring through a mine as an earthquake occurs and forces them to take the mine carts to get out as they were blocked in. They run into a trio family of bears who mess up the track and take the guests on a wild ride, forwards and backwards.
Shops:
Grand Californian Adventure:
A merch store dedicated to the park and state, it features all sorts of stuff, maybe a grizzly peak keychain or HollyWorld sign. It has lots of stuff to get based off of California or the park itself to buy.
Golden State Treats:
A sweat shop with frozen “goodies” and treats to buy. How about a Grizzly-popsicle? Or how about a “yummy” frozen treat that is shaped like a glider. This place has treats based off of the park just like with GCA above. But not Ice Cream.
Grizzly Village Bar:
Obviously not a real bar, but a bar that turned into a gift shop which has Grizzly bear stuff to buy, not much but lots of theming to a real bar though, and yes the bar area is the register area.
Grizzly Village Ice Cream Parlour:
After a quick visit to the Pioneer Village area at my local Amusement Park I noticed they had a super cool (pun intended) Ice cream shop which is more of a shop. They has great ice cream but I think it would be fun to have one here as well.
Diner:
Grizzly Steakhouse:
A diner with meats available to eat for all, a Vegan’s nightmare (that was a joke). They do serve Salads and other healthy foods. But they mostly have meats and Barbecue or grilled foods. The theme is still of Grizzly Village though.
Other:
Grizzly Town Hall:
A walk through attraction with a court room and some seating areas. Mostly just a used area with no purpose besides to look cool.
Avengers Academy:
A Marvel themed area where Kang the Conquer destroyed time so the Avengers build bases around the world to find and recruit superheroes to help them defeat Kang. This story was made so even though if a character dies, he can still be alive as this is a destroyed timeline. This is a Californian base with remainders of a old stark outpost. Inside the compound is decorated with stuff from the MCU. Even a Quinjet is parked outside with a Guardians ship.
Rides:
Doctor Strange in the Tower of Terror:
I have a Marvel, and I have a Tower of Terror. Uh [mushes them together] I have a weird ride. I came up with this idea as I love the GotG overlay but also the ToT so how about I combine them. Guests have entered the HollyWood hotel which recently just reopened after a mysterious incident involving a disappearance. The guests are a few of the first to enter the new building. The tower is secretly a portal to the 5th dimension and the dark dimension where Doormammu lives. The hotel was put under a curse by the evil being as all of the cast are under his control. He reopened the hotel without the Masters of the Mystic Arts nothing and it turns out the demon is luring in guests to just to devour their souls to get strong enough to fully invade Earth. But Doctor Strange shows up as the guests enter their emergency elevator as the normal ones are broken. He realizes he can’t stop this so he uses the guests to out smart Doormammu and lure him to a trap and close the gate to his dimension. The ride vehicle is an upgraded one which can spin, rotate and move around. The restraints are more restrictive as this ride goes upside down and the elevator can move much faster and this makes the tower much taller. The guests enter the dark dimension by launching forward out of their elevator shaft and then the battle begins. The ride uses the 2.5D technology and illusions with crazy things happening. The tower has the ToT feel with the queue being similar but with some Marvel thrown into it. This ride will end with Doctor Strange and the guests closing the gate as the ride vehicle enters the actual elevator shaft and ends. Also then guests are dropped off to see a dazed crew wondering what happened as they are free from the curse. Also the 5th dimension thing will be a cameo when the guests start entering the realm of Doormammu and then it turns to his dimension and this is a rare event. Each elevator will act differently with the drops and actions all different. The ride will use some screens but also some real effects and a Doormammu animatronic. Doctor Strange thanks the guests for helping and he does teach a little bit of mystic arts. Also the queue outside has a few interactive things to do.
Spider-Man Web Mania:
A Augmented reality shooter ride. The ride features Spider Man teaching guests how to use web shooters. The queue is inside of his lab where he makes his web with some suits he has, even the Night Monkey suit. Also Ned is there with him. The preshow shows how to use the webs. The vehicles are a crane arm reaching down from the roof with seating for 4 each with web shooters guns that fold down. They act like TS Midway Mania but the ride features AR so the webs are projected on the AR glasses. They go through a test run but then Vulture attacks and spider man chases him and the guests join. This ride then turns into a HP: Forbidden Journey style with guests swinging through the area with spider man with the arm simulating that as they hunt down vulture as the guests shoot enemies. The ride will use some screens for the high speed parts but then there are lots of real scenes with stunt animatronics and normal animatronics where the guests help defeat Vulture and spider man thanks them and says they can swing with him anytime. The ride will simulate lots of web swinging and little Vulture bots attacking. The bots mostly being real with their attack’s being AR and also they can damage the vehicle.
Ant Man: Flying Ant Journey:
A FoP style ride where guests shrink down to an Ant with Ant Man and the Wasp to learn how to fly on a Ant. They shrink down and ride their flying ants which uses the Tech from FoP but some things added on to make it feel like a flying ant. They journey through campus until they run into the Yellow Jacket who attacks the guests but fortunately he is stopped. This ride will have three theaters for huge capacity. The queue takes guests through the Pam lab with ants and tech on show with some fun things to do.
X-Men Sanctuary:
Inside of a safe house for new mutants, guests go on a tour to learn about mutants and even test to see if they are one. They tour the facility and run into Professor X, Wolverine and a few other faces. But then Magneto breaks in as he believes that the humans hate Mutants and that the guests are no different. But Magneto is defeated and two random people are “found” as mutants just like what Star Tours does with the spy. The ride vehicle is the one from RotR with a drop tower sequence and lots of interactive things happening. The queue is around the house with some narration telling the history of the mutants with some info on some mutants. The building looks like a Californian mansion but secretly is a sanctuary for mutants.
Guardians of the Galaxy Time Hiest:
Guests are taken on a journey through time to look for items like the infinity stones that they would use to defeat Kang. The Guardians take guests through with Rocket escorting the guests with everyone else on their ship or “Rocket’s ship” as he says. Kang finds out and chases them as they get Thor’s Hammer, Stormbreaker which broke in a battle with Kang before the time of this land, Cap’s Sheild, a few other things and the Infinity Gauntlet. They get all these but the gauntlet is grabbed from the final battle in Endgame but guests do get to battle in the battle though for a bit and even face Thanos. But then they face off against Kang but escape as defeating him is for another ride, as guests leave they can see the artifacts they stole as they are prepared to help defeat Kang. The ride system is an upgrade to Star Tours but where guests can interact a bit more with some buttons, mainly for shooting as the ship gets damaged in battle and defending it themselves can help that. A animatronic Rocket is in the pilot seat and can stand up on the chair and swivel it around a bit. Also Groot is on the ship. This ride is like a more interactive star tours but with some 4D effects like air puffs and heat and of course shaking/ moving. The queue is of a space ship garage even though they don’t exist.
Avengers Coaster:
After stealing the artifacts the avengers use them to battle Kang with the guests helping a bit as they fly though the battle. The ride vehicles are the same from the GotG coaster in EPCOT but look like Avengers test vehicles. There are launches after show scenes as Kang arrives and the guests witness a major battle between the heroes and villain. It all ends with Avengers beating him and he disappears. The guests help a bit by shooting in the battle and using the weapon they made to defeat Kang by combining all the artifacts. After beating Kang Captain America takes the artifacts and returns them “but it looks like everything is still the same” is said by Professor Hulk as the ride ends in a weird voice. The ride features not so many inversions but some and lots of launches and a huge speedy part before the end going around the compound.
Shops:
Mystic Storage:
A store with things from the DSToT ride. It also has magical items that can interact with things around the area. You can also get a magical item that chooses the guest in a quick tour where one of fifteen guest get a unique magical item.
Iron-Man suit garage:
A store with Iron Man merch with helmets, toys and other things that are all the Iron tin can. But the helmets must be taken off at rides. There also is Iron Man suits decorated around the store.
The Vault:
The true MCU merch store with so much MCU in it. You can buy merch for almost anything marvel in this two story store. The store is decorated with suits from heroes and villains as well.

Microbrewery:
A Ant Man diner with all sorts of foods. The area is themed to a Pym Lab with so many Easter eggs. The food is normal but the seating area has a seating area for ants also.

So many heroes will be switched out on a regular basis like every other month. Also the rooms won’t change much besides posters and stuff. Mostly minor decor.
Radiator Springs:
Not much is changed besides the main ride gets a few new scenes with some Cars 3 cone tent added and the Lightning McQueem show from DHS moved over.
San Francisco:
A San Francisco themed area that leads up to the Piers. Not much theming as this is a small space compared to the others besides a San Francisco look. The bridge to Pixar Pier is the Golden Gate Bridge also. This is where the Food & Wine festival will take place.
Rides:
San Franspinner:
A kiddie coaster that also spins, not a new idea. It goes through the San Francisco area and is inside of the old Little Mermaid building that is tweaked a bit, I know people liked the ride but it is not California. This is just a simple kiddie coaster.
The Emotional Roller Coaster:
Stuck between the two areas is an Inside Out roller Coates that is a bit more thrill inducing them the spinner but is still meant for younger audiences. Guests journey into the mind of Rylie (did I get if right) and journey through her head. Guests meet all the emotions in an emotional roller coaster and journey through the mind. Also Figment makes a few cameos. The ride goes through the memory lanes, dream studios and headquarters. The queue is through a Rylie’s house and they enter the ride and enter her head. A simple but fun ride.

None

Other:
None
Pixar Pier:
A Pier theme mixed with Pixar, a disaster recipe. Will tie in multiple Pixar IP’s into this.
Rides:
Grand Pixar Coaster:
A launching steel coaster that looks like a wooden coaster. Will go into around or into every show building in the pier area and inside of the Emotional Coaster as it is Pixar. It’s queue has posters and info for every Pixar thing shown in the ride. It’s major launch has a countdown that sounds epic, like the original.
Toy Story Midway Mania:
Remains mostly unchanged besides Mr. Potato Head getting upgraded and getting characters added from TS4.
Monsters Inc. Laugh Show:
Disguised as one of those shows on Piers, it is a show where guests get inside of a trackless vehicle and watch a laugh show from Mike and Sully but get interrupted when they hear that Boo has returned to the Monster world alongside Randal and the guests enter the monster world through a door and Boo enters the vehicle and soo the guests get chased by Randal but get stopped by Mike and Sully as they trap him back in the human world through another door. The ride uses similar tech to RotR but with some crane arm thing attached for a door factory chase scene. The ride also goes through the streets of the Monster world.
Pixar Pal-around:
The Ferris wheel stays unchanged and only gets a Pixar logo on it to replace the mouse head.
UP! Spinner:

Nice work! It makes the IP incorporation less ham-fisted. Perhaps a Silicon Valley based around Disney’s video game IP?
