News Disney’s Animal Kingdom Welcomes Abdim’s Stork Chick

Here's what Dr. Mark Penning had to say in a post on Instagram:

We have some egg-citing news to share! A new Abdim’s stork chick recently joined Dinoland U.S.A.

Abdim’s storks often build their stick nests on rocky terrain, and adults can be identified by their signature black feathers, blue face and a red patch near each eye. Be sure and keep an eye out for this exciting new addition.

Well, if the land is themed to South America, he should still fit right in! The American Crocodile lives throughout Central and South America, I do believe.

As for the storks, I don’t know for sure.
