Again a better description for guests would have made this helpful..I don't think guests are expecting to see a sea serpent pop out while heading from port of entry to Morocco or a Troll from Germany to Port of Entry on the Friendship boats in World Showcase lagoon...

I honestly think they did that as well as they could and still stick with the theme of the park. The Friendship boats have the advantage of being in a location where looking like transportation and transportation only is possible. Not so much at AK.

Speaking of the unicorn, Orlando Rising did a story with the former cast member who bought it. I thought this never appeared inside the park after cast member previews, but this says otherwise: Disney World history: Beastly the Unicorn’s journey to a fan’s backyard.
