Discovery Island ?

I am unfortunatly too young to have been able to experience going to River Country or Discovery Island and have any memories of them. I was recently looking at an ariel photo on google maps of the are and I noticed a small building on Discovery Island. So my question is what is it?

The largest visible structure seems to be the main entrance building near the dock. There were restrooms just north of it. There was also a snack bar and small gift shop.

Thanks for the info. I went there when I was about 3 or something but dont have any real recolaction of it. I love FW so this is one of those things as well as RC i wish were still open.

I was lucky enough to be on my CP and visit it right before closing. I took tons of pictures but unfortunately, got them jumbled in with alot of other Fla wildlife pics.
