Discounts in January

Hello!

A group of friends and I are looking into a senior trip at Disney World from January 2nd to the 6th. Usually I love to take advantage of the discounts, but unfortunately none are out for that time. Some of the group wants a rough estimate of the price. Does anyone here have a rough estimate of the discount percent for Value resorts? I would assume 10-15 but you never know! Also, is this % applied to every night or the total amount? Thanks!

Here's a link that shows the historical discounts offered through the years:

Not guaranteed, but either the Stay, Play, Dine package discount or 10% off the room only portion (at the values. LM at AOA is usually not included).

IIRC, room only discounts only apply for the dates covered by the discount. So if it doesn't start till, for example Jan 4, you'd have to pay rack rate for your first 2 days.

Have you checked MouseSavers historical discount page? You can see it here -> http://www.mousesavers.com/historical-information-on-walt-disney-world-resort-discounts/#codetrends Keep in mind that those dates this year are the week leading up to Marathon weekend, so not only may you run into guests who haven't left from NYE, but also guests filling the hotels on the 5th/6th for Marathon events. Discounts may be slim, and could very well exclude dates on either end depending on occupancy.

That sounds like so much fun!! I totally get taking advantage of discounts but those are never guaranteed. I would recommend getting a non-obligation quote to see how much it would cost without a discount. You could book now with a $200 deposit per room, and then apply any discounts if there is availability when promotions are released. Better to see what the total cost now would be and plan for that, instead of waiting for discounts but finding out that all resorts are booked for your dates.
