Mousesavers has a good list of discounts, and if you sign up for the newsletter, you'll get a few more. However, the ticket discounts are pretty small (10% max, generally), so keep that in mind. The only really significant ticket discounts are for Florida residents.

As for money saving tips, I'm sure everybody here has there own little ways to save at Disney, but we probably also are more apt to spend and enjoy rather than worry too much about it!

Welcome aboard

Saving money - stay in an offsite hotel.

Tickets - don't buy from a travel agent. There are numerous UK based websites that sell 14 day passes from £165 (Virgin currently sell them at over £180). Contact me for a list.

thanks for your replys guys!

me and DH are going to be working out our budget (yawn) over the weekend too see if we can afford to go in October. Fingers crossed (even if we do have to use the plastic!lol)

Its annoying too as my parents are flying to Orlando in a weeks time! They don't really do disney, normally they go to one theme park in the whole 2 weeks! Crazy I know!!!! Some people just dont understand the magic of disney! I'm hooked thats for sure :)

These are the cheapest tickets around for UK residents. Have purchased tickets here 2 years running as they were the cheapest around (and believe me I searched everywhere as I'm a real scrooge). The tickets came in the post a couple of days after purchase. We booked a holiday with virgin but by buying tickets from here we saved over £100!

Also the cheapest tickets for orlando flexiticket are available on this website. Keep your eye in it though as the prices come down/go up according to exchange rates so if you see that the exchange rate is good snaffle those tickets!

Also second the opinion of staying off site for money saving - we satyed international drive and the hotel we stayed at supplied free, regular transport to WDW so we didin't miss a thing.

thanks for the info,

We found a website thats doing disney 14 day passes for £164 (can't remember where I wrote the web address down!)

We used this company last year and they where pretty good so think we will have our tickets covered.

We stay on I-drive normally as it is cheaper and there is loads to do in the evenings, just hop on the i-ride trolley!

Can get a good deal for hotel on it own just the flights that bump the price up! Tryed looking a package deals and not much difference! So really stuck do we book 6-8 weeks before we wnat to go?
