I keep hearing about codes getting sent in the mail. Is it the same code that everybody gets ,or does each household get different code numbers?

I believe there are two kinds of codes that get mentioned here most often.

The most common are promotional codes that are either for the general public, disney visa card holders or annual pass holders. These usually follow the seasons and are generally discounted rooms or something like the free dining offer.

There are also special codes that are occasionally sent to individuals. We got a code once back in 2004 - and it was a really good offer. So good, it became my first trip to Disney & helped make me a repeat visitor. I guess that's why I haven't gotten any more codes These codes are somehow choosen by some magical Disney computer code & cannot be used by anyone but the person it was sent too.

Never got a code, don't get me started. My sister has and I was unable to use it. The codes are attahced to individual names.

My wife got a code for Disneyland not long ago. I was surprised since she isn't the Disney fan in the family. It was a decent offer, but not good enough to get us to fly out to CA.
