I have heard several times on this board, as well as on Jim Hill media, that the original concept for Dinosaur was to be a heck of a lot better than what ended up becoming reality at AK...
I have never heard about the original concept...can anyone enlighten me regarding the differences between concept and the actual ride?

I know that some are upset because it got the exactly same lay out as the Indiana Jones rides at DL...I don't see that though AT All....we don't get the suspension bridge anywhere in Dinosaur...
but that could just be me...when you are flailing about in the dark and having Dinosaurs come out of the darkness at you, it's hard to notice...

I think they mean that the track design is the same, not the effects (like the bridge). So the turns, ups, and downs are the same...but the effects you see and feel are different.

I don't know what the original concept was, but I really like Dinosaur. I went to Disneyland for the first time this year, and while I enjoyed Indiana Jones, I got more thrills out of Dinosaur. The "photo shot" gets me every time.
