Dinosaur has seen better days

Keep in mind - We've still got a year before Dinosaur goes down. This could just be a last hurrah before they stop maintaining it.

I don't quite understand what you are trying to say? The animatronic was taken away to be refurbished? That's a good thing? Or do you think the ride should have been closed during this time?
The comment was general and in response to others, not specific to anything with the maintenance going on with Dinosaur.

Alioramus is back to not moving his full range of motion. He's not completely stuck, but he's staying low to the ground.

Also, it looks like there's something wrong with his head. It's hard to describe and I didn't take a picture because I didn't want to bother the other people on the ride, but if you turn around after passing him it looks like dark, blocky parts on the back half of it. It's not an angle you're supposed to be looking at it from, but far as I know he's supposed to have a whole head and previously looked fine from that angle.

And the final carnotaurous is stuck in a rearing back position. Which is a new one.

It took a few attempts, but I got a shot of whatever's going on with the alioramus, who still has wiring sticking out of his head:

If you zoom you can see it goes down his spine, too.

Also, I think the carnotaurous has been moved so far up that people are just flat out missing him. Depending on your position in the vehicle you need to crane your neck to see his head (I'm average height for a woman, for reference). You can probably imagine how surprised I was when I took my family on the ride and I was the only person looking to the right in the picture.

He's also occasionally just not moving at all; when I first saw him stuck up there his head was at least going back and forth. Now it varies.

Still less embarrassing than Tiana's.

Which instance of the Carnotaurus are you talking about?

Sorry; the final, full body animatronic. He's supposed to rear up and then go down; that movement hasn't worked for a long time (except for a brief period like a year ago), but he's normally been stuck downward so his head is near the rover. Since around May he's been stuck rearing up with his head at the highest height it should reach.

Ah gotcha, that makes sense. I last rode in April and I think he was doing his motion. The second instance where the Carno chases after the vehicle wasn't working, though. It was stuck in its outer-most position.

I know it looks weird, but the Alioramus has always been this way. If you look backwards at him you could always see half his skin gone. He hasn't been opened up to be worked on nor did his skin split open.

As for the final Carno, if he was wasn't working and everyone was looking left, then the tiny B-Mode Carno head was lit up and you didn't see it. Or maybe they just noticed it because the other Carno was too high up and it caught their eye first during the flashing lights.

Oh, well. That's egg on my face.

I should have been more clear, I meant no one in my group was looking right but me. One of them was looking straight ahead, and it was a mix of directions with the rest of the car. It was not in B mode, I've seen B mode; the lights are all still on the giant carnotaurous. It's just running as normal with arguably the most important animatronic clearly broken.

This is how it was for me as well. Why can't they just lower him down?
