Maybe the Reno will be done on the cheap and will have Indy fighting dinosaurs after time-traveling.Sad that it seems to be in the best shape in years and it will be gutted in a matter of months.

Unfortunately, so has Indy!I'd say Disney has seen better days
So Lakeland on a good I-4 day?Sister rode yesterday. Said she didn't see any fog/steam in the first room, but other than it was still looking good. She'll try to get back to AK at least one more time before it closes (She lives 2.5 hrs away).
It would be nice if the glass shattered and big boom noises came back for the start and end of the ride..First room had fog and steam on Sunday. Ride looked really good, was nice to get one more go around on it
That's the kind of thing where it seems like it's an easy fix. They just need to turn on a speaker or something, right? We know they've tinkered with the audio in the past (flipping Seeker's directions, eliminating the "Whoops!", etc)It would be nice if the glass shattered and big boom noises came back for the start and end of the ride..
Weren't those sound effects removed after it's last big refurbishment (2016?) not that I wouldn't like to have them back. That's the kind of thing where it seems like it's an easy fix. Yeah i don't remember those particular effects on at least the last 3-4 times we rode it.Weren't those sound effects removed after it's last big refurbishment (2016?) not that I wouldn't like to have them back.
Well, Harrison Ford IS a dinosaur now…I'm having my final rides next month and am definitely prepared to be sad. Yes it's just a theme park attraction at the end of the day, but it still blows my mind that Disney is throwing in the towel on dinosaurs entirely in an animal themed park and putting in an Indy ride which may be great but seems like it would have made sense to build 20+ years ago. The IP is kind of dead at this point.
I really hope they fill the ride with Easter eggs like this amongst all of the Indy props.Going to miss this:

And I already miss the removed-a-few-years-ago CTX reference out on the area map.

As I often bring up, don't even need time travel. The original Lost World novel was set in South America and there's even some Ancient Aliens style pseudo-archeaological quackery out there about the Mayans encountering dinosaurs.Maybe the Reno will be done on the cheap and will have Indy fighting dinosaurs after time-traveling.
And Carnotaurus was discovered in Argentina! As I often bring up, don't even need time travel. The original Lost World novel was set in South America and there's even some Ancient Aliens style pseudo-archeaological quackery out there about the Mayans encountering dinosaurs.

I'd be fine with WDW getting another Indy ride at DHS...the WDW park he's been a part of since day one
Instead of the company deciding dinosaurs aren't "Disney" enough
Maybe someone should tell that to this guy?
