My brother and I will be heading to WDW next Christmas and will have 5 nights to eat. Of course eating is one of my favorite parts of Disney. So, we havn't had much of a variety the many times we have been and we were wondering if anyone had any suggestions on some wonderful dining experiences at WDW.

Thanks.

Personally, in MK I absolutely loved Cindarella's Castle for dinner. The food was great! In Epcot, my favorite restaurant for dinner so far has been Coral Reef - although I definitely haven't tried them all - YET! And in MGM, the Brown Derby was great. Their food was really delicious. I haven't really eaten much in AK, so I can't comment.

If you're looking for fun/good restaurants at the resorts, I absolutely loved Chef Mickey's for breakfast.

We always do the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the WL for a skillet breakfast. Chef Mickey's is a good choice for a character meal (some people like breakfast more than dinner). The Concourse Steakhouse is a must for us, Ohana for dinner...expensive, but worth every penny. We enjoyed the Seafood buffet at Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club (I hear their breakfast is very good, also).
We tend to eat only one big meal & just snack the rest of the day.
ESPN Club on the Boardwalk was also good (esp after a rousing game of mini golf  ).
Here is a link with menus ,hope it helps:

Good Eating.

I can never say it enough. For me there's only one place to eat in the 'World:' The Hollywood Brown Derby at the Studios. I have two more words for you: Cobb Salad. It's fantastic! Get it with chicken, excellent. I also recommend their grapefruit cake, and I don't like grapefruit. Toy Story Pizza Planet and Backlot Express are both good for something quick at the Studios.

I also really enjoy San Angel Inn at Epcot in WS. The food is good as is the atmosphere. Try the queso fundido, excellent, even if it is only an appetizer. I also really enjoyed The Coral Reef at Epcot, but I thought it was a little expensive. I've heard really great things about Restaurant Marrakesh in WS's Morroccan pavilion. For a quick meal hit the Liberty Inn in the American Adventure pavilion.

As for MK and DAK, I usually only eat at a counter service restaurants. Usually Pinnochio's in MK, my favourite double cheeseburger in WDW, though I also really like Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. At Cosmic Ray's look for Sonny Eclipse, the biggest little star in Tomorrowland. I usually eat at Restaurantosaurus in Animal Kingdom, if I eat in that park at all. They used to serve McDonald's fries, but I don't know if they still do. We had a quick breakfast once at Tusker House Restaurant & Bakery in Harambe Village, it was pretty good. However, I don't think they serve dinner, only breakfast and lunch.

I've never eaten at any of the resorts, but I hear Boma at AK Lodge is excellent.

For a quick snack in MK, try a pineapple whip in Adventureland.

I would suggest Marrakesh, Jiko, Flying Fish, and California Grill.

The Buffet at Cape May is also Great!:D :slurp:

Forgot about Marrakesh! We had a great lunch there. They run daily specials and there was more than enough. And what can I say about the belly dancer? :lookaroun

50's Prime Time in MGM is awesome. You have to go several times. Try the fried chicken, the meatloaf, and the pot roast. The milk shakes are great and so are the smores! It's the restaurant we frequent the most. I've never tried the chicken pot pie---but I got the recipe out of Chef Mickeys and cooked it myself and it was great too.
I've eaten at the Brown Derby once. Had the salmon. It was good, but Prime Time is better and more fun (in my opinion).

Boma is great! The mussel soup is so yummy as is the prime rib and the zebra domes. Yum...

I like Tony's Town Square at MK (for lunch only though). The menu is better at lunch time.

Tusker House at AK is good AND inexpensive. The rotisserie chicken is the best.

Okay, I had some great meals and some not so great meals on my last trip to DW. I highly recommend the following.

1. Jiko's

2. California Grill

3. Boma's

4. Wolfgang Puck Cafe

And I do not recommend eating at the Sci-Fi Cafe. Yuck.

Hi there, Here are some of my comments, mostly good but there are a few I ate at that I just didnt care for:
Magic Kingdom
Cinderella's Castle -good food great atmosphere
Liberty Tree Tavern- Good for all you can eat dinner, character meal, was better with the ham, but still OK
Tony's Town Square- OK for Italian in Florida, but smallish portions the last time I went there
EPCOT
Princess Storybook breakfast in Norway- Absolutely charming, good food, nice service
Biergarten: Good buffet if you like German food
Chef De France: I wasnt blown away and it is a pricey restaurant. As I like to say I was underwhelmed.
L'Originale Restirante de Alfredo's Same comment as Chef De France.
Le Cellier- One of the true jewels of World Showcase. Absolutely pricey and worth every penny. Priority seatings are a must.
Nine Dragons- Good chinese food but nothing that I cant get living in NYC.
Restaurant Marrakesh- Good food, unique menu, lamb was amazing.
Rose & Crown Good Prime Rib & Chicken dishes Priority Seating recommended.
Teppanyaki Grill- a touch pricey but this is probably my favorite rrestaurnt in World Showcase. I enjoy the food being cooked on the grill in front of you, show and dinner all in one
MGM:
Mama Melrose- I didnt like this at all the smoky wood flavor was a HUGE turn off
Brown Derby- Pricey but the food was great. Smaller portions though.
50's Prime TIme Restaurant- THIS is the place to eat in MGM. I agree with the previous post about you have to go there a few times. Tough to choose a dish when they are all good!!!!
Animal Kingdom-
Donald's Prehistoric Breakfast- I enjoyed the character interaction at this breakfast.
Downtown Disney
Bongo's- great Latin type food. plaintains!!!!YUMMY!!!
Fulton's Crab House- Kinda pricey but probably the best seafood on property.
Resort restaurants
Boatwright's- GREAT Breakfast
Boma's Great breakfast buffet ( No characters) but I didnt like dinner at all too exotic for me
O'Hanas- A great meal ( all you care to eat variety) and lovely island atmosphere
Hoop De Doo revue- A bit pricey at $49.01 per adult but with all the beer or sangria you can drink factored in plus unlimited food ( all you can eat), not terrible!! A really cute Country Western dinner show. Great BBQ!!!!
Hope this helps!!! Belle

All I know now from all your wonderful input is that I am incredibly hungry. Everything sounds great.

Well from what we can see...Ohana and The Coral Reef are pretty much a MUST. I have never been to Ohana and it sounds perfect. Other than that we will probably have to do a little more research.

Thank you for all your excellent suggestions!
Enjoy your next visit to WDW.

I highly recommend Artist Point at WL for dinner. We've eaten there a couple of times and it was great each time.

I second the Brown Derby at MGM.

Cinderella's Royal Table for lunch is a better deal than for dinner and you get pretty much the same atmosphere.

Chef Mickey's is great for breakfast. The best character meal we've been to.

Finally, the buffet in Germany in Epcot is usually pretty good too.
