What time of the evening would it be wise to make a dinner reservation before Illuminations, Wishes, or Fantansic? The dinner would be in the same park as the show any given evening.

Dinner times before nightly shows

Depending on how busy the parks are you might have to adjust for waiting in line for fantasmic. For Illuminations which is always at 9:00p, we had a 6:00p PS at Chef de France and were out by 7:30, in plenty of time.
Wishes is going to depend on the time they are having it, the times for that vary.
For fantasmic, we had 5:45p at brown derby and the show was at 8:30p, service was a bit slow that night and we left there about 7:40 which was plenty of time to walk to the theatre and get a decent seat.
Just figure about 1 1/2 hrs for a sit down meal.

I usually allow two full hours for a stress free dinner and time to get in place for any of the night time shows. Belle

Plus, as has been mentioned - it depends on how busy the parks are. Peak park times will require more time between meal end and show start than when dining in the off peak.
