Dinner Reservation Question...

I like to plan for every scenario so here we go...

If I was to make a dinner reservation, let's say at Via Napoli, for 6 people but at the very last minute (lets say 20 minutes before we are scheduled to eat there) 2 of the people in our party need to leave the park and go back to the hotel for some reason, would I still be able to keep the reservation even though 2 people are missing?

My parents will be coming with my wife and I in October and I have a feeling they might wear out at least once while we are there:lol:

Don't worry. Showing up with fewer people than are listed is never a problem. Just inform the CM at the podium that you have fewer people when you check in and they will make a note of it. It will actually make it easier for them because it would mean they can seat you at a 4 top instead of having to wait to seat you at a table for 6.

It's always easier to take away at the podium then to try to add people.

Awesome, thanks for the help!:sohappy:
The only issue you might have is it the ADR required a credit card (Cindys does) at the time the reservation was made. I can't imagine the CM or WDW would actually have give you a problem if even part of the party showed. It might be different if the entire party was a no show.

I think the credit card issue WOULD be a problem with the Fantasmic! dinner packages, at least. Those packages are no charge based on Disney's belief that you will be ordering food for "x" amount of people. There's a chance these and other missed reservations would charge you the $10 or $20 fee per missing party member, though not for the entire party.
