Dinner before Illusions-Help

I have read several tips that state to try and get ADR for Rose & Crown before Illusions at 7-7:30. If Illusions isn't until 9:00 then wouldn't that be too early ? Would 8:00 be better?? Please help to clarify this.

Thanks - Laine

Yes, that is correct. I am new to this (Planning 1st trip since 1991-things sure have changed) and by 10:30 p.m. all the names are blurring together!! I am glad you new what I meant.

It also depends on the time of year that you're visiting. At Peak times, the time of your ADR and the time that you're seated can be as much as 30 mins difference (it happened to us in Easter). But a 7:30 ADR for a 9:00 showing of Illuminations is waaaaay too early. 8pm - 8:15 is ideal

Remember, even with reservations there is no guarantee you'll be seated where you can have a good viewing spot...
