Dining solo?

This is exactly the type of situation that I WOULD'NT want. I dine solo quite frequently, and any of the WDW restaurants are great for solo diners. But the last thing I want to do is to barge in on someone else's party. I did the Biergarten once, and the family at whose table I was placed looked at me the entire meal as if I was gonna jump up at any second and start waving a blade around. Very uncomfortable!

While I usually dine with ADR's, I really like the concept of dining at a bar. This works really well at the California Grill, as long as you're not going up too close to MK fireworks time. Enjoy drinks, enjoy a terrific meal, and then go out on the balcony and watch the nightly fireworks. A great evening, and you don't have to book it 180 days in advance!

I was seated with a family at Biergarten too. Weird. In fact, because Teppan Edo is comparable, I just switched that ADR to Tokyo Dining.

Ive eaten alone on most of my trips down to Miami (it breaks up the trip and makes it more bearable) I've eaten at Kona , Be Our Guest, and had a snack at Animal Kingdom (ate at Eight Spoon Cafe back when they had the lobster mac and cheese)
