Dining Reservations

I'm going on my first ever cruise on the Disney Wish in September and was recently able to start making dining reservations. I checked early that morning and all reservations for both restaurants were already fully booked and all the tastings were sold out already. I haven't been able to find many tips online, what are the odds I'll be able to get a reservation at Palo or Enchante? Any recommendations that would help?

Thanks

You know what's funny?
Keep checking as something might open up. If you can't find anything before you sail, go to the dining change location on board and check there. If still nothing, they can wait list you.
Yep, exactly. Keep checking everyday online if you can. I was able to get lucky that way before. And a lot of times, you can snag one once you board, but be sure to go check as soon as you get on the ship.

Your situation is a very common issue for first-time cruisers. Everybody who is a past guest on DCL has already had the opportunity to make their reservations before you're eligible to do so. So it not at all unexpected for you to get shut out of popular dining and shore excursion experiences. BUT. . .

They almost always hold some reservations available for people to book onboard, for those people who weren't able to make a reservation online. DON'T go to Guest Services to ask for this. Follow the advice above and go to the place where you can change your dining rotation and ask there. (In the past, I've also had luck going directly up to Palo to get a reservation, but I don't know if you can do that on the Wish.)

Thanks for the response, that makes me feel a bit better.
