Do you need to make reservations at the sit down places like you do at Disney? How far in advance will they take them?

Checking out menus, so far looking at:

3 Broomsticks- breakfast
Leaky Cauldron - Breakfast
3 Broomsticks - Dinner

Steak Dinner?
Romantic Dinner for anniversary?

I don't think either of those choices offer reservations as they are quick service but the best steak on property is the Palm at the Hard Rock Hotel, is romantic Italian for you? Vivo in citywalk is nice and do make a ressie the week of or several options at the Portofino hotel just a short boat ride away

I actually don't like Italian food all that much. But a solid steak dinner is always a good choice

I can understand that, what would be a romantic dinner for you? Steak then Palm but there are other options if I knew your preferences
I prefer steak and potatoes. MY wife had recent bariatric surgery, so she is on basically a keto diet, low carb, high protein in small quantities.

We are a couple around 50 so something quiet, few younger kids, nice atmosphere. More on the fancy side.

How about Big Fire BBQ in citywalk then? it's upscale without too many gimmicks, try the smoked old fashioned if you are so inclined, too bad Emeril's has left the property
I didn't post before but the citywalk places you should make a ressie the week of, most take them but some are walk up and wait. At least they take your number and text you when ready so you can wander around.

The most romantic restaurant on property is BiCE at Portofino Bay resort. It is a fantastic Italian restaurant.

The Palm at Hard Rock Hotel is one of the best steak houses in Orlando.
