Dining Reservations

Planning a trip and trying to figure out where to eat. We have two locked but the rest is just up in the air.

Confirmed

MK - Breakfast at Crystal Palace, hoping for an 8am or so reservation

EPCOT - Diner at Germany

Unconfirmed

MK - Late lunch at the Plaza or Be Our Guest

EPCOT - Rose & Crown (Day 2)

HS - Either 50's Prime Time or SiFi Drive In - Maybe Brown Derby for lunch only

AK - Rainforest - Yak and Yeti does not appeal to us at all, plus have not heard good things about it either.

We are looking for one big meal a day at a table service except for the day we do the Crystal Palace. I love the Plaza but Be Our Guest has a nice lunch menu and if we went to the last seating for lunch that could work. We eat one big meal then just snacky food the rest of the day.

Have you thought about Tusker House for Animal Kingdom? Its buffet style so there may be options that appeal to others in your group if they are picky. Also, we loved lunch at BoG. The food was delicious and it was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the park.

If you're thinking about other MK sit down options, Tony's Town Square is okay.

And I've never been before, but I've got reservations for Liberty Tree Tavern coming up. It looks super yummy.

Plaza ADRs are only available between 11 am and noon; the rest of the day is walk-up and wait. Something to keep in mind if you are considering a late lunch.

I second Tusker House for an big AK meal if that appeals to you. Unique character setting and a notch above normal Disney buffet foods IMO.

Epcot...oh so many to choose from. Go with what your palate desires. But don't overlook Coral Reef + Garden Grill. Both one-of-a-kind dining experiences!

Between 50's Prime Time and Sci-Fi, I'd say food at 50's is better, but Sci-Fi does win in atmosphere.

For lunch at MK, we LOVE Be Our Guest (our favorite time of day to dine there!). Also, Liberty Tree Tavern might be a good choice. It's All You Care To Enjoy now, but the most important thing is that you can only get the delectable Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake at lunch. ;)

I would also highly recommend Tusker House! We had an early lunch and loved the variety! Even my pickiest 8 year old son loved it! We also really enjoyed the theming of Sci-Fi if you have never done it. Our new favorite restaurant is 'Ohana. We had it the first time our last trip. We don't like to leave the park during the day but now we will always have to make a special trip there on MK days! It was the highlight of our trip.

Another vote to skip RFC and go to Tusker House and another vote for BOG lunch it's a bit cheaper than the Plaza and I find the food and experience better also not to mention you can preorder and have an ADR for a late lunch
