Dining Reservations right before closing time

Does anyone have experience with dining reservations at the end of the night at either Flying Fish or Trattoria al Forno? I'd like to book both (on different nights) for after leaving Epcot. Will we be rushed if we arrive at the very end of dinner service? Please share your experiences if you've done this.

It's been a while, but we had a late one at Flying Fish one time. No rushing whatsoever. Things were bustling when we arrived, but in wrap up mode when we left. I just remember it being a relaxing and well-paced meal with Disney's stereotypical friendly service.

We had a 8:45 ressie at 9 Dragons/Epcot when the park closed at 9. They did not rush us and although they had lines up so you didn't wander, it was cool to walk out of the park after hours and seeing all the hustle and bustle going on by castmembers (and some cats!).

Weve had many late hours reservations that got us served close to closing hours. Weve never been rushed to complete our meals or made to feel like we are holding the servers up and must scoff down our food. We are aware that the staff is at the end of their day and wants to end their night and so we dont linger about conversing and making it later than it needs to be. Be respectful and enjoy your meal in a timely manner.

We had a late meal somewhere (I think it was Flying Fish) and although we weren’t rushed; they were laying tables ready for breakfast and stacking chairs in areas of the restaurant and it just didn’t feel relaxed.

I would take the transport back to your hotel into consideration unless you are staying in hotels at these sites.

As a former waiter, I personally hate being the last table in the restaurant, because I am well aware that the entire staff is waiting for us to finish and leave. For some reason, this has become my personal curse, because we now live in an area of Long Island that rolls up the sidewalks extremely early, and we always seem to be the last ones in the restaurant, no matter what time we go. It is never fun to have the entire staff waiting for you to leave so they can go home.
