I am a regular visitor to WDW however this is the first year we are going for the dining plan.

Other than adding additions to your entree's (like lobster/shrimp) are there any restrictions in monetary value.

For example we are planning on using a CS ticket at the Pepper Market at Coranado Springs. I see on the menu they have under the Grill Station the following item

Ribeye Steak, Potato, Vegetable - $18.95

Personally I am unable to find anything that states this would be excluded from the plan however other family members seem to think I am mad to think we could have this for lunch!

I see lots of people refer to CS meal for roughly £10 - £14, is there a limit in value?

Also are there any other restrictions anyones knows of other than thise listed in the booklet http://adisneyworld.disney.go.com/m...agespecific/eng/nontheme/tickets/07Dining.pdf

I dont want to arrange all our dining reservations around the menu's then find out you are limited to what you can choose.

Just wanted to let you know that at Captain Jacks, the addition of a lobster tail was included in the dining plan, as we all did just that and enjoyed!

But I am unable to verify your question. We were never told of any restrictions when we went to eat either CS or TS.

The counter service meal you listed is allowed under the DDP. However, the Pepper Market does severely limit your dessert (i.e. cookie, muffin, etc - not the cakes) so it is a trade off.

We have used the DDP three times over the last two years (and have signed up for it for both of our 2007 trips) and have found very few exclusions.

My best advice - Relax and Enjoy!

This is one of the best counter services places IMO... we did have this and a chicken dish plus you can get a dessert from window 1 or window 2 (I accidentally chose them from window 3, which is stuff like cheesecake and creme brulee and they let it slide although he reprimanded me even though it was accidental, lol... but believe me, you are fine with cookies or something because it's a ton of food and super delicious!)

Along those same lines, the Resterauntasaurus in the Animal Kingdom is listed as a Counter Service. Does this mean that a PS for breakfast with Donald would only count as a Counter Service selection?

We booked our trip through AAA this past weekend with the Dining Plan option and want to get some clarification before we start making the PS's

Thanks

No, unfortunately it lists Donald's Breakfastosaurus at Restaurantosaurus as a Character meal, which would count as Table Service.
