Dining Plan- Quick Service vs. MYW Dining

Hello! We've booked a trip arriving November 29th. we purchased the MYW+Dining but I'm having second thoughts about the plan and wanted some advice.

We've done the dining plan in the past when appetizer and gratuity was included, and are aware of the changes. However, I hate planning the meals because something undoubtedly changes in our schedule and it ends up being a hassle to make it for our ADR's. I'm considering switching our plan to the MYW+quickservice it includes two qs meals, two snacks, and the refillable mugs. There is not a great deal of difference in price, it will save us about $200.00. I was curious who liked the quickservice plan and if it worked well for your family. Thanks!

If you have a party of adults only, then I don't think the quick service plan saves you any money. You pay $30 for the day on what amounts to two meals that would cost you $24 out of pocket. When you include the snack credits you probably hit $30 or a tad bit more. Most likely when using the quick service plan you really are just getting a mug for free.

If you have an party with adults and kids, I think your savings increases since the kids pay $9 a day. (some places don't have kids meals so you get to pick a standard value meal) Plus the two snacks and mug make it worth it.

I miss the old meal plan with tips and appetisers included. Too many people complained and now it's gone

Wow! Reading through that snack list made me very hungry for Disney Snacks! Thanks for the information.

wow!!!! me too!! i saw there was nothing offered in the mexico pavillion though but thats ok. i was wondering where i could get my DH corn besides the restaurants being hes from mexico he will be thrilled to know he can get some without needing to spend alot!! thanks:sohappy:
