Dining Plan Question

We have the DDP and I have a question about QS meals. In the past when we've had the DDP sides like fries were included with your entree i.e., grabbing a hot dog at Casey's, your fries came with. Now they are listed as a side. I've noticed that with a few QS restaurants. Did they change that? Now if you want fries you pay extra because they're not included? Thanks.

I think it just shows that because you could get them separately and sometimes you have a choice. Many QSR entrees, like burgers, do in fact come with fries (or sometimes a choice of a "healthy" option like apple slices). Things like the Pecos taco salad do not, but I'm not sure that they ever have.

To my knowledge, nothing has changed as far as dining plan credits. They could be listed separately for someone who wants to purchase individual items without the dining plan.

In September 2013, items Iike hotdogs/burgers still came with frys.. A personal pizza at our resort came with a small salad..the only times I did not get a side was when it was items like a entre salad, breakfast crossaunt at the resort..

Unless something is alacarte - burgers and dogs come with fries :) Otherwise, I would raise hockey sticks the food is expensive enough as it is. Casey's has my name written all over it for my first night. It is tradition to set outside in the courtyard eating my dog and cheesefries and watch everyone leave out the park.

I have the BBQ slaw dog ready to go for lunch this Sunday. I agree, everything is expensive enough so I would hope for no change either.

Sounds like a good plan! We have lunch at Casey's in the same tradition, at each visit. We love sitting outside and watching all of the people feed the birds even though there's a sign on the lawn that states "please don't feed the birds." But it's our go-to lunch spot for our first day at the MK.

Its hard not to feed the birds and ducks - its so pleasant :) Reminds me of the time I was Epcot WS- I had my fish and chips and was sitting on the patio area over the water and squirrel jumped out the bushes into food and stole a french fry lol

Basically the fries are considered part of the entrée meal and thus are included. You couldn't order a few sides and consider it a quick service meal though. As Kasey said most items to come with a side of some sort, the side itself would vary based on what is offered at the location you are at, but I think you will be fine. Marie
