Dining plan question

Okay. I am planning a future trip for 2014. Yes the bug has bitten me again. It may get pushed to 2015 because the hubby wants to go north and visit family. My question is, if I book a stay at a Disney resort for a Tuesday thru Sunday stay but only buy a 4 day ticket (to be used on Wednesday thru Saturday) will I get 5 meals per person or 4? Not sure if they count the number of nights you stay at hotel or number of days on your tickets for parks.

The meal plan is based on the number of night of your resort stay. So 5 nights = 5 TS, 5 CS, and 5 snacks per person, provided it is the DDP. The Quick Service plan and the deluxe plan entitlements will differ.

That got, for me and the kiddo, 6 dining credits (total, 3 for me, 3 for her) and 4 snack credits.

Thanks guys. We want to plan a trip that has a little bit of relaxing built in. So thinking pool time the first day and last day.

No. I could have though.

We did a meal at Cindy's Royal Table, so that was 4 credits, and then breakfast at Chef Mickeys, so that was 2 credits. We ended up saving money on that deal. We did use 2 of our snack credits, but, my fault, I forgot to get snacks the next day (because of the rush/excitement for the cruise), so the last two credits were wasted.

I could have easily used them though.

Yeah...I could easily use them too. The snacks we tried our best to get stuff before we left but still had 1 sit down meal per person we wasted. That's what happens when somebody gets sick.
