Dining Plan Problems

Hi Guys,

It's time for me to make my bookings on the dining plan (for the first time) but after trawling through all the letters and forms from my travel agent I can't find any direct reservation number with WDW, only the travel agent.

So, do I need the WDW reservation number to make bookings or can I just merrily dance through the onlione booking service and nab all the restaurants I've been eyeing up for the last six months?

What the travel agent gave you should be the WDW reservation number. How do you know it is not?

If you are looking for a phone number, its 1-407-WDW-DINE.

The number the travel agent gave me is their own reference for my holiday. No to worry though, I called WDW and they found my reservation although I am struggling with the workings of the online service.

Got it sorted, it finally accepted my reservation number after about a dozen attempts. Le Cellier continually threw up a 404 error so I called and what do you know, I got the exact date and time that I was looking for. Roll on May. :)

Even though it sounds like you got it resolved, a few comments. The TA should be able/willing to give you the number so you can make your own ADR's.

Beyond that, you only need the reservation number to book the 180+10. Anyone can book 180, but you need the reservation to take advantage of the ten days out.

Yep, my travel agent should have the reservation number but for some reason they do not. As I said, I called WDW and confirmed my reservation, dining plan and tickets with them and after some teething with the online booking (which is still being 'updated' at present) I was able to book -

Crystal Palace - 8.05 am on the first full day of my holiday. Empty Main Street, here I come.
Le Cellier - one call and it was sorted, I hope it lives up to my expectations.
Boma - looking forward to wandering around AKL.
Teppan Edo - noodles!!!
Restaurant Marrakesh
Spirit Of Aloha

As soon as the site is back up, I'll be booking some more. :sohappy:
