Dining Plan Desserts

I know that at CS restaurants you can get your receipt stamped for desert. Do they also do this at TS restuarants? I'm asking b/c my boyfriend keeps Kosher and he can't mix meat and milk or have them within half an hour of each other. Most of the meals we are going to do are dairy-based for him, but he wants to go to a steakhouse one time and get a strip steak or something. This means that he needs to wait half an hour between eating his steak and getting desert (we will be on the dining plan, otherwise he normally just wouldn't get the desert). What would you recommend doing? I would hate to sit there for the half an hour and occupy the table...

Sit back and have a few drinks and spend some quality time together. Then eat desert. The restaurant should not rush you out.

Some of the TS restaurants offer berries and fruit as a desert.
I think that you could also get it 'to go'.

I cant see a way around that at the sit down locations. As you say, you cant really just hang out there doing nothing for 30 minutes. I would think you will have to abandon dessert at that location, and then go elsewhere later.

i would suggest ordering desert and then asking for it 'to go'... (thats if your going back to the hotel room afterwords or don't mind carrying it) :veryconfu:wave:

What if you checked the menu online for each of your restaurants beforehand then decide what to do. They may have alternatives that would work for you or could be carried out easily. Just a thought.
