So, 2018 is here and the Dining Plan has been updated to include alcoholic beverages and shakes and such. Do we have a decent list as to what items are/are not included in this? For instance, at Sci-Fi, I know you could get, say, a beer or a non-alcoholic shake, but would one be able to get a boozy shake on the dining plan?

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Yes you should be able to being some current reports several places said any drinks under $23. Several places are letting wine up to $24 a glass I also heard from a friend that’s there, but of course with all of them you can only get one per meal. :)

Follow up: Has anyone heard or seen anything yet confirming wether or not buffet/family style meals such as ‘Ohana and Chef Mickey’s will include an alcoholic beverage with the 2018? I have read some posts saying they should be allowed but curious now that it’s 2018 if anyone has tried it yet.

Also, since alcoholic beverages are now included for CS meals, are the CS restaurants at MK now offering alcoholic options?

I'm curious about O'hana also... has anyone ordered drinks with dinner there?
I have read several reports on other forums that you can indeed order alcohol with the DDP at Ohana for breakfast and dinner. The only exclusion being that any drink served in a specialty glass/pineapple would be served in a regular glass.

Follow up: I have been following this topic closely in trip reports and it appears that most buffets include alcohol with the DDP, the only exclusion I have seen is possibly the CG brunch which I saw one account where it was considered included but another where it wasn’t so it may have been unclear to CM when DDP2018 was rolled out. Also I read reports that retuarants are deciding individually what is and isn’t included and that most drink menus now signify this. Typical exclusions across the board appear to be flights of beer/wine etc. as well as more expensive pours of wine (above ~14 for 1 credit TS and ~20 for signature).
Also of note-Some resort QS locations have been reportedly refusing to allow alcoholic drinks with breakfast (I read Mara at AK) but others have been allowing it.

I was served a Lapu Lapu in the pineapple on my trip two weeks ago at Kona as my specialty drink.

Has anyone used 2018 DDP at D-Lux burger? Wondering if alcoholic milkshakes are included if anyone has tried

Can you still get free refills for soft drinks?

I am willing to bet that you can. I believe the new catch here is that you can only get one specialty drink then must pay extra for anything else except maybe water. That way they sell more drinks.

I don't know about others, but I pretty much always need a drink refill at dinner. So I know that I would end up wanting something else.

Hope I am wrong but that is how I currently see it. We'll probably just stick with tea and soft drinks.
