No arguments from me on the food, though I personally don't find the Brown Derby Fantasmic package to be worth $20 more than the Mama Melrose package.

My only comments / things to think about are logistical. If you're using Disney transportation, eating at a resort other than the one in which you're staying can be a pain to deal with. That's something to think about with Ohana, California Grill, and Sanaa. If you're staying on the monorail loop then that concern is a non issue. The only other thing I'd say is that you have things planned late every night. I could see early trip burnout if you plan on Wishes, Fantasmic, and IllumiNations all back-to-back on your first three days.

Wow, youve got some great spots here. Some of our faves are Ohana, Brown Derby, and Cali Grill. If you haven't yet, check our the menus on this site so you know for sure that you and your party will like the options.

Have a great trip, and enjoy your meals!

What age are your children? I do agree, lots of late nights, but if you don't have little ones, that won't be much of a problem.

I will say... when I saw your flight arriving at 4:30pm and dinner at the castle at 8:05, I did a little cringe. Are you doing Magical Express, or a taxi/uber? You might want to go with the latter option. Our last 2 trips, on the Express, we didn't get to our hotel until just over 2 hours after our flight landed. Depending on your hotel, traffic, etc. - it could be close. So maybe think taxi from airport to resort to save some time and not have to rush as much?

Thank you all for your thoughts and feedback! We're not bringing the kids this time around. They're just now two and three, and due to the cost we wanted to wait until they're old enough to remember the trip.

I desperately want to eat in the castle, so I jumped at the chance when I saw an opening. I don't know how keen DH will be to go there, or anywhere for that matter, on the day we arrive. We're coming from the west coast, hence the late evenings as I'm thinking that'll keep closer to our normal schedule.

Atm I'm thinking to take a uber or taxi for our meals outside of the parks (Sanaa, Il Mulino, 'Ohana) and walk to California Grill from MK. I wasn't aware that Magical Express would add so much time to our trip! Maybe I should cancel at the castle and go somewhere that's not a sit down for that evening? I certainly would hate to start the trip completely stressed out.

That said, we have seven day passes and are only using six unless we go to a park that first day, and MK is supposed to stay open until 2am.

I agree with this. You could be cutting it super close, magical express can take a while.

I'd try to get a later time for CRT. Otherwise, everything else looks good!

I wouldn't dream of CRT without a "princess-age" child. Even then I probably wouldn't go. But at $75, I honestly think it's a tremendous waste of money compared to the excellent food you'd get at some of the true signatures.

I agree it's totally overpriced and food not great but I wanted to dine in the castle at least once so it was worth it to me.
