Dining Discounts

I am planning a 10 day trip for 2007 with my husband, daughter, her husband and four children. We were going to go in late June (20th to 30th). However, if the free dining discount is offered for mid August, we would wait and go then. It would save us a lot of money. I am very anxious to book our trip. When did Disney make the free dining offer available for 2006. If I book in June and then they offer it for August, could I change our trip. Also, is there much difference in the weather between late June and late August. The average temperature seems comparable. Can't wait.:wave:

If I recall correctly they announced the free dining very end of April/beginning of May, but maybe I'm confusing this with the AP discount.

Late August v. late June: more afternoon rainstroms, but somewhat lower crowds.

Dining plan: I think it was announced in April this year. Of course there's no guarantee it will come back next year, and if it does it could be in a less generous form. The response this time exceeded their expectations, and created some problems.

Announced April Fools Day last year. It was kinda funny.

Based on when I called for my dining reservations (they didn't have too much) and how people told me it was last year, it sounds like it is going to be a little crazy down there this year.
