Dining Dilemma

So, I decided to do a bit of a recount on my Dining Plan Credits and it turns out I'm going to have an additional 2 TS credits left over and lots of QS credits due to going to some off world attractions.

In regards to my TS credits should I:

a) Replace two of my current ADR's with Signature meals at Artist Point and California Grill. ( I currently don't have any Signature Dining ADRs planned.)

b) Use them for lunch.

My current ADR's are:
'Ohana
Corel Reef
Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater
Chef Mickey's
T-Rex
Shutters at Old Port Royale (as I'll be staying at CBR)
Raglan Road
1900 Park Fare
Arkershus
Tokyo Dining
The Crystal Palace
50's Prime Time Cafe

I'd suggest upgrading at least one of those to a Signature.

Just going based on my tastes (which of course are not your tastes) I'd switch out T-Rex for Artist Point.
And if I *had* to choose another to drop, I'd go with either Sci-Fi or one of the buffets.

Yes I was thinking about dropping Crystal Palace/Chef Mickey's.
Most (not all) of my ADR choices were based on the environment/setting as opposed to quality of food just because there is nothing like that all all here in NZ (which very much applies to T-Rex).

What I'd say keep or drop all depends on meals booked. If you have a Chef Mickey's breakfast I'd say keep it, but drop if it's dinner. Same thing goes for Crystal Palace. We're not fans of 'Ohana breakfast, but like dinner and don't care for Coral Reef.

Ultimately, I totally agree on going for a signature meal if you're just looking to add.

Thanks for all the feedback.

I've dropped Chef Mickey's Dinner for Artist Point.

Couldn't find an available slot for California Grill for a time that suited me at this stage, so I'll keep the last 2 TS credits available to be flexible if something opens up.

As much as I'm aware of the considered to be average food found at Sci-Fi, T-Rex, Coral Reef and the like, I can get good food everywhere where I live but nowhere in NZ can I find a themed dining experience so that alone is worth keeping those ADR's.

I will start by saying I love CBR as a resort. That being said, I'd ditch that Shutters ADR. There are so many other options in and out of the parks that are far superior to Shutters. You may have dined their before and feel differently. However, if you don't have a special affinity for it, I'd drop it like a bad habit.

Thanks for that info, It's my first trip ever and I've scheduled Shutters to be on the day that I'll be at Busch Gardens, so I thought it would be more convenient to just have dinner at the resort that night, but plans might change once I get there so will definitely look at swapping it out for something more interesting.

Are you driving when you go off Disney property? You may want to stop off at Downtown Disney and go to the Earl of Sandwich. You can use quick service credits to get yourself a bag lunch for your day trip.

By the way, I also vote for a signature dining experience. The only one we have ever been to was the Aloha show. It was a lot of fun and something I never would be able to do at home.

That is a brilliant idea. Will definitely use my QS credits for that. Thanks
