OK, I just changed a few dinner choices for our upcoming trip in late December and after I got off the phone – and the gentlemen was very nice and helpful I will say – a friend of mine whom I spoke with after said he was completely wrong, while another friend of mine said he was 100% correct. I think he was correct too, but I figured I’d ask anyway.
We’re staying for 10 days, and we picked two places that are worth 2 credits each (Cinderella’s Royal Table & The Hollywood Brown Derby) – that’s fine with us. So after I cancelled our ADR at the Nine Dragons, we both each had 1 dining credit left.
What I was wondering is if we wanted to do another character dining, if they could take those dining credits from us, so that one person is “paid” and the rest we could then pay out of pocket? The gentleman from Disney over the phone said this was not possible, and I honestly didn’t think so, so it wasn’t a big deal (and we did make ADRs for Germany instead) but after a friend of mine said she thought her family did that once before, I just wanted to be sure.
