The XT is incredible! So many contol options, native RAW support, and its not heavy. Only gripe is its made out of plastic (not cheap..but still)..makes me worried about breaking it.

I have the original Digital Rebel and I love it... the body is better than the XTs if you ask me... the XT is too small where as the original DRebel is more like a 35mm body, but still plastic... I was going to get the 20D when it came out but I've decided to hold off for the 30D which will probably be out within a year... but if you want a DSLR and don't want to spend a lot of money, buy the Digital Rebel for $700 with the kit lens (18-55mm) but there is a 1.6 maginification with DSLR so that'd make any 35mm lens bigger... so 18-55 is really 28.8-88mm...

hi just recieved new camera yesterday Panasonic DMCFZ5 5 meg and 12 optical zoom 4digital zoom .just been trying it out and pics are excellent oh and it has Optical Image Stabiliser which comes in handy
