I'm bringing my digital camera with me to WDW and I was wondering if anyone knew what sort of batteries I should bring for it? I heard that the Titanium are the best for digital camera's, is this true?

Try and see if you can get re-chargeable batteries... They last much longer and they are so much easier. The regular batteries on my sony cybershot lasted 15 minutes, but with rechargeable ones, they last over 2 hours! ANd that is with the LCD screen on. With it off, im sure the batteries would last 4+ hours.
Ok, thank's for the info! So, if I get re-chargeable they will last longer...thats good to know, I was having an aweful time deciding which to get. BTW: Are the Titanium good? Just curious! I'm so dumb when it comes to digital camera's! :hammer:

Im not sure about the titaniums, but If you call ro go on to the website of the name of your camera, they probably have FAQs, and you can find out there. But I would go with the rechargeable ones.

For the most part, different brands of batteries, and the different 'features' they advertise really don't make any difference. 99% of it is just marketing. So if i were you, i wouldn't spring for more expensive batteries, just cause they advertise that they are 'better for digital cameras'.
I don't do much digital phtography (call me old fashioned.. i own a digital, but I still prefer my 35mm and a negative scanner), BUT, in my experience with other portable electronic devices, the Titaniums tend to have a really high charge for a longer time, but then in a very short time it goes from full power, to no power. I have had this same problem with photo lithiums as well. I would say to go with rechargables, and bring a charger with you (as a bonus, if you bring your charger with you, you can leave your batteries charging at Guest Relations in the parks, for no additional fee)

batteries will last quite awhile.. as long as you don't keep the LCD screen on. That means that no matter how much you want to keep looking at the pictures you just took... resist!!! it just eats up the battery power. i tend to just take pictures like a mad woman and then go thu them when i finally upload them onto my computer

I have a Kodak DC280 and learnt the hard way that they do not seem to fond of the Energiser batteries that are sold in WDW.
The duracell website has a battery finder and I learnt that digital camaras generally need the 'high power' batteries, such as Duracell M3 ultras.
Not sure what the Every Ready or Energiser equivelents are, but the bulk standard alkaline batteries that are sold in most park shops are, generally, not up to the job.

I have 4 sets of NiMH batteries and they are Awesomw. just make sure you get a high speed charger for them. Mine chareges the batts in 1 1/2 to 3 hrs. ENJOY YORSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheap batteries not always good batteries
Sometimes you get lucky and the cheap rechargeable batteries work good, other times not. I bought some Nickel Metal Hydride NIMH batteries from cheapbatteries.com for only $10 (4 AA) and these are suppossed to be 1600mAh which refers to how much storage in the battery. The higher the mAh number, the longer the battery is suppossed to last before you need to recharge it again. Unfortunately the cheap "GP Brand" on that website are not working good for me at all. I charge them for like a day and then they run out in 5 minutes without the LCD in my camera. The lithium ion batteries that came with my digital camera lasted an entire week at Disney World and I took over 1000+ digital pictures. In fact the batteries were still working on the 7th day, but I decided they should be close to dead. So if you get some NIMH rechargeables (better than NiCd), go with a reputable brand with a high mAh number.
