I currently have a Canon Powershot S230 and am wanting to upgrade soon to something with a better optical zoom (it's only 2x). I'm wanting to stick with Canon because I've grown familiar with them and haven't had any problems. And that leads me to my question.
If I get another Canon, can I keep the battery from my current camera and use it in the new one also? It'd be nice to be able to carry a spare around since I usually start to run out of juice and have to be more discriminatory about taking pics as the day goes on while on vacation.
So, can I keep the current battery and use it also? Or does each camera model have it's own battery model?
Thanks so much!
