Different Smells Everywhere

After reading the post's on the monorail smells, i got to thinking that every time i go to WDW (everyday), i always noticed everyplace on propertyhas a different smell
here are some of the smells

contemporary-Fried food ( only on 4th floor concourse)
Grand Floridian--bathroom
Comander Porters @ GF--Always smells like a nasty armpit
Tower of Terror-Has the same smell as Dinosaur loading area, i absolutely crave this smell.


Really, i cannot think of anymore at the moment, but next time you go, you will notice that every place has a different smell--it is really weird

the Polynesian has a great smell in the Great Ceremonial House. Especially at night when the restaurants are cooking. Outside the GCH you can smell the wodd burning from Ohana. So nice!

HA.. the other day at the gas station I for a second smelled the smell from Big Thunder Mtn. Railroad.. It was so wierd..I can't wait to go!

i know what you mean, having that burst of memory---i know i was sitting in class the other day and, it was so weird, but i bit my pen and i go a whiff of the girls hair in front of me and it smelled EXACTLY like the air the air cannons blow on you in some of the new tow4r sequences--weird

Monorail-dirty diapers
GF entrance -flowers
ToT- its like a dark damp feeling smelling like.......?
Horizons-oranges
test track is always cold...lol thats not a smell thou

I love that smell! I've also noticed it at Rock'n'Roller Coaster and Test Track.

haunted mansion definatley has the musty old hotel smell. both at DL and WDW. maybe from the 'dust'?

This has been posted before,but Disney intentionally does this they have scent machines strategically placed. I think someone even posted a picture of one of the scent machines before.

Yeah I think I saw one on the monorail once- the "smell" reservoir on it was labeled "Dirty Diaper Scent"!:lol:

The smell in the lobby of All Star Movies. Strangely, that same smell has lately been coming out of the vents in my car when I turn on my heat, tats just what made me think of it.

I have some more smells that whenever I smell somewhere else make me feel like I am right back in WDW. First is the burning of Rome in Spaceship Earth and the second is the mildewy damp smell on Splash Mountain and most of the water rides. I think it is the water in the whole area (central Florida), but it has a very strong scent to it.

I had the exact dirty diaper/smelly foot/rhinoceros/elephant/stinky sweaty people smell from the monorails in my car about a week after an entire gallon of 2% took its own life on the carpet in the back seat of my car! Can anyone say :hurl:

Journey into Imagination smell

Does anyone know what that smell was in the old Journey Into Imagination ride. You know, there was a big perfume sprayer that was right next to the track that constantly sprayed out that fragrant smell. I would really like to know what smell that was.

Yes, Disney World has many smells that are distinctally WDW. When ever I smell something that is like disney world I get reminded of my trips. (and my friends think I am nuts) The smell of the All-Star resorts lobby is one that I will always remember. Also the smell of Rome buring in Spaceship Earth. THen there is the smell of rides like POC, IASW, Malestrom, and El Rio Del Tiempo. There is also that distinct odar of Dinosaur and Test Track. Ahhh, yes disney world has many smells; some plesent, some not so plesent, and most of them are like the song it's a small world, unforgetable.
