Mark, were you playing the millionaire game on abc.com? I constantly get that question when I play.

LOL...I had a student one year who spent time at the end of class coming up with words he felt were rhymes, with sponge and horace (?) being my favorites.... I worry about what may have come of him... The best part was watching his classmates argue with him about why those words weren't rhymes and yelling, "Nothing rhymes with orange! Nothing! Just accept this!"

But the next day, he'd try to find a rhyme...

duck, i think that kid's onto something. sponge and orange both end with an "nj" sound.

other words that would rhyme would be binge, cringe, fringe, hinge, tinge, twinge, impinge, infringe, singe, syringe, and my personal favorite, lunatic fringe.

and then, of course, there are all those words sheri came up with.

Yeah really funny Josh...I'd rather be a non-thinking person (Is there a word 4 that? ) Then a mean person!!

I'm not mean.....I'm brutally honest.

And yes, there is a word for that....it's SheriD013 :p

Uh ohhhhh I'm gonna get it now!:lookaroun

Yeah, Dopey, you're right. One day I said to him, "You know, finding a rhyme will be easier if you don't try to make them sound the same."

He agreed....
