that is sooooo cute but i can't believe you didn't melt it's usually sooooo warm down here.

funny you should say that........the year before these costumes we went as mickey and minnie and a cat. froze our tushes off. it was 40 something during the party. so we planned warm ones this year, and alas it was over 100 that day and still over 90 at costume time. just can't guess wdw weather!

this was from 09 (our 1st mnsshp). first please note we were mnsshp rookies and we were not sure about dressing up in costumes and riding rides, walking the park etc... we learned after that :)

my daughter as alice and my granddaughter as "poison princess" aka a dark snow white. she chose this knowing how much i love the evil queen so she wanted to match. i've looked all over and can't find one from there with me as the evil queen...

to be fair...here's me in my evil queen costume. i still can't find one from the actual night of the party tho...weird

we all went as "something dead"
i'm the maid, my granddaughter was the bride from the haunted mansion, my sister was a zombie scarecrow, my daughter was a dead/zombie "miss magic kingdom 1971" (the kind you'd find on the side of the road on all the old movies is where the inspiration came for that one), and my niece and her bff were well...dead bff's (they told an elaborate story about how it all started over a boy and a fb post...teenagers).

I know the feeling. The last year I wore the Jack Sparrow costume it was in the 90's and I nearly had a heat stroke.

The costumes are great! We just wore matching tee shirts. It was Very hot and humid the night we went and I couldn't imagine wearing a heavy hot costume.

lol...it's always hot and humid here so yes every halloween we sweat to death...with the rare exception when you hit a cool night in october but rarely do we get that actually on halloween (sigh). even in the evil queen costume or the dead/zombie maid i wore last year the fabrics were typical thin costume material (and i live here in FL) it was really warm.

roflol...bonus points if you were in shorts, loafers, and a bowling shirt!

Bowling Shirt. Tan cargos. Pair of Toms. I was shocked how many nailed the look I was going for.... especially getting on Space (three sheets out). Gotta have fun at 22 before a chain comes into the pic.

Not doing MNSSHP this year and your pix show us what we are missing. The three of you look great and it looks like you had a good time.

your costumes are fantastic or should i say "enchanted"! how in the world did you get that costume on/off the rides?

I got REALLY good at it...and I always had my own seat, lol. I didn't ride a lot but I managed Buzz, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, and the carousel.
At Haunted Mansion, the hilarious spirit on the lawn yelled at me and told me to get back in the house because I wasn't supposed to be out there (wrong bride, lady! haha)
