Did YOU cancel/postpone due to stale product and increasing costs?

I can imagine that for some who go numerous times, they can get the feeling like theres nothing new and exciting. For us, we cant go multiple times in a year, but if we did I think we could find ways to switch things up, add off site trips, make it exciting enough to make it worthwhile. Our goal is to move to FL some day and it's interesting to read those posts that are related to how you handle visiting when you live close by and visit often.

After this past trip it's not the product or prices that make me wanna put off a trip but the crowds. Every year it just gets more and more crowed despite the time of year and that can be a real downer for a trip.

That's because they haven't built anything new besides New FL which is kind of a letdown though it looks great.

The product is still fresh for me... and I would like discounts implemented over peak seasons because for some reason that is my favorite time to go....

Put me in as someone who loves WDW and practically lives there, but has also had to cut back over the years for the two main reasons being discussed in this thread:

1. Costs involved
2. The *familiar* factor.

Maybe someone mentioned this already, but perhaps a visit to beautiful DisneyLand in CA would be in order?
It has done wonders for me...and even though i still visit WDW when i can, DisneyLand gives me something truly exciting and new to look forward to.
Instead of going back to *the Parks* again, i get to go to THE Park...Walt*s Park..!

It is a nice change for a longtime FL Parks visitor...give it a try!

:)

We have decided to not plan a trip for next year to the parks. We will stay at the DVC and probably go to sea world or Universal for a day, hit treasure island beach for 5 days, but we won't spend any time in the Disney parks. If something awesome is done by summer 2015 we will go then but if not its probably 2016 for our next trip. And if things work out we are trying to get to Disneyland instead for the 2016 trip.

Post of the day. I only wish I could like more than once.
I haven't been to WDW since September. In the past, by this time I would have been at least twice since then. Instead, I have been to Disneyland twice and Universal Orlando once. I have no real urgency in returning but will be going to Universal Orlando again in a few weeks. I just don't think it's worth what Disney charges.
