Did Stitch's face get an update?

Didn't they just announce a brand new parade and brand new fireworks show to start in 2014 (or maybe it was even sooner)? Seems to me like there aren't cuts in entertainment but rather a boost in that side of the budget.

No, there's a new parade, no new fireworks. And to pay for that new parade, two other parades have been completely cut.

Exactly. There are no new fireworks. New fireworks have been rumored for the MK in 2015 at the soonest. There is a new daytime parade coming to the MK in early 2014. Which is great, but about 8 or 9 years overdue.

And the 1970's era MSEP keeps barely trudging along, in terrible condition. The parade at the Studios is gone, and DAK's is rumored to be ending in January. The castle show has been running for 7 or 8 years without replacement. There are still no shows at the Diamond Horseshoe (and the Galaxy Palace Theater was paved over). Wishes is 10 years old, Illuminations is almost 14. Live music has been cut across property including resort lounges. Groups have been cut at DAK and Epcot.

Doesn't sound like an increasing entertainment budget to me.

Yes indeed...likely because Walt borrowed these very ice show costumes for DLs opening day. They were used for several years afterwards until WD Productions decided to start making their own and improve the look.

Nice to hear that our furry friends are being reviewed. I find that to be good news.
There are several updates needed, off the top of my head is Brer Rabbit and Beast.

I agree, Brer Rabbit's face looks like an old sponge. I also agree on a few of the Toy Story charecters needing a little face work. Still would like to see a Cheshire cat and bring back Goofy's son Max.

Ok I must've read something wrong or it was a rumor thread. I could've sworn there was an official replacement for Wishes announced.

I wasn't questioning it as a point of "I know and you don't" but rather an honest question. Frankly I never really liked parades anywhere other than MK anyway so to that end I'm not upset that the budget there was cut and instead is being filtered into other little things (like updating character costumes such as this and the princesses).

For me, I don't care WHAT they do to the face, I will always find it a little creepy. It's the teeth. Reminds me of a creature from a bad 50's sci fi movie.

And it is a constant reminder of WDW replacing alien encounter.

Horace and Clarabelle's heads always bothered me. Their skin is SO dark! I like the way they look in their black and white versions better.

Remember when terrible Ice Show character costumes looked like they were going to eat your skin while you sleep?

Pinocchio has Down Syndrome, Mickey and Minnie look like some sort of minimalist surrealist painting. Why are there 3 chipmunks? Dumbo looks like his head is swelling like a balloon. pluto is a girl for some reason? The pigs are just creepy and to the right of them... What is that? Donald wins the least frightening creature contest.

There are 3 chipmunks in the photo because the middle one is Clarice. She is a friend of Chip and Dale in one of the short cartoon. You can see that it's Clarice because of the yellow piece on her head.
