Did i Make good Choice

We were going to stay at the Contemporary Orginally but then we switched to the Polyneisan its to late to change back because of are trip in August and now that i see all the new stuff at the Contemporary I feel like i made a bad mistake.

All the new stuff at the Contemporary is only a monorail ride away and you dont have to deal with the construction. I personally think you made the right choice. The Poly is my most favorite resort that I have not stayed at yet. Plus they have a sushi bar now. :slurp:

i love both , however with all the construction and stuff, its better to be at the poly. if you want to , you can always take the monorail to it and explore

I have stayed at the Poly 5 times & will be there next month :sohappy:. I think its the best resort. You will love it . Have fun on your vacation.

Stay at the Poly, visit the Contemporary (or any other resort) to take a look around or grab a meal.
I personally don't like to stay in a place that is undergoing construction.

I think it depends on whether you want atmosphere or convenience - are you looking for romance or just a place to crash. You can't beat the buildings and grounds of the Poly for getting that tropical feeling. On the other hand, atmosphere takes a back seat for me in that I LOVED the fact that the monorail stopped and dropped me off practically right on my doorstep in the Contemporary.

We have not stayed at the Contemporary for many years. But we have always preferred the Polynesian over the Contemporary. As the pp said, you can always ride the monorail and walk around at the Contemporary.

Make a decision and stick with it.
Otherwise you will drive yourself nuts.

Those 2 hotels including the GF are 3 amazing hotels and they are close to everything and you don't have to take a bus to the MK. You can always visit the Contemporary when you have nothing to do and experiance it there.

The Poly would be my first choice out of all of the resorts.

The Polynesian is just soooo much nicer than the Contemporary. I think the Contemporary is the most overrated resort in Disney. You made a great choice... Enjoy!
