Did Horizons have the best soundtrack?

Out of any Disney attraction, particularly those that are in the States. I sure think it did/does. Pirates, Mansion, and Splash are incredible, but man, the last few days of listening to Horizons music has taken me to another world. It’s just that special. What does everyone else think?

One of them, but the Haunted Mansion has the best overall audio between the Ghost Host, sound effects, songs, pre-show, etc. it’s just perfect.

It’s up there. I prefer Ellen’s personally but Horizons is pretty damn good. Especially that load cue. Pity it’s so short.

Also the Mansion and spaceship earth ‘94 are high on the list. Really most of Epcot could be put on the list.

That's probably the only track that is more dramatic in the attraction..

To me Energy had the best songs, Magic Journeys maybe the best score, Horizons the best overall collection. EPCOT was so good in unashamed pulling on your emotional strings. Lyricism, elation, mystery, nostalgia, melancholy. No wonder the 'ironic age' of the 90's resented it.

And simplicity too can be the secret ingredient to Disney charm. I'm a big fan of the MK soundtracks. IASW and If You Had Wings are little happy machines made by their soundtrack. <3

If You Had Wings' music got stuck into my head as a small child and never left.
