Did Everest re-open today, 9/11?

Everest went down all day yesterday, Sunday the 10th at about the same time as the Gulf of Mexico quake happend, just before 11am EST. The powers that be were unable to get Everest running in any way yesterday (note: there were no show element problems - the ride system itself would not respond.)

Anyone know if this was resolved overnight or today? Speculation is rampant that the earthquake may have damaged the super sensitive Everest structure. Seems silly since most central Floridians did not even feel the quake, but who knows.

Wait there was an earthquake yesterday. Wow and I must have been at the Jacksonville home game when that happened. I think that it came from all those fans at the game. And I am one of them.

You know when TO is bad when the fans at Jacksonville and the fans of Dallas say T NO.

Everest did not go down due to reasons associated with the earthquake. Although the timing was correct, it was only coincidental that they occured at the same time. It did re-open later that day.

This is all to my understanding. And the quake wasn't yesturday...but i get your point.

Actually Everest did not reopen to guests yesterday. They did get it running again but it was after park close.

I didn't know anything about it until I read it on the news today. I was out in Orlando by 11am Sunday, but...didn't notice a thing.

I was there around 1pm. The train full of people had stopped at the top for about 10 minutes. We got in line and after a 40 minute wait, no problems.

Captain Hank, I too rode Everest this morning 4 times in a row! Did I happen to be sitting beside you for one of them and infront of you for the next ride?

You have a beard by any chance!!!???

Actually, I was there in the afternoon, from about 2:30-4:00, so, sorry, wasn't me.

(and I'm not allowed to have a beard :) )
